Ability to work across the board with students and staff at the elementary level to secondary level. Ability to analyze the educational needs of the student and exercise leadership in planning and implementing an instructional program of maximum quality and efficiency in a safe and supportive environment. Understands the benchmarking process and has had experience at both teaching and being a principal at these grade levels, curricular knowledge, excellent people skills, able to discipline effectively and consistently. Ability to manage budget and personnel. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Design feasible projects for implementing innovations. Evaluate job performance of employees to ensure effectiveness. Receive and process work orders in a timely manner. Support district student management policies and expected student behavior. Develop professional skills appropriate to job assignments. Ability to communicate effectively (written & verbally). Travel and check on campus needs; be sure the campuses and district are maintained, cleaned and landscaped (Grass mowed, painted, etc.) Constant inspection of all facilities, construction projects, vehicle repair and maintenance operations. |
Working Conditions: |
Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbally & Written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate all district functions and activities.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent district travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours, ability to conduct on-site inspections of all maintenance facilities, construction projects, vehicle repair and maintenance operations. |
