Those wishing to apply for future positions that may come open are welcome to do so by following these instructions.

 

For future professional positions, including teacher, counselor, and administrator, send an email to applications@breckenridgeisd.org with the position desired, as the subject. The email should include, as attachments, the following:

 

1. Cover Letter

2. Resume or CV

3. Completed BISD Application for Professional Personnel (see below link)

4. Certifications

5. A list of current references with contact information, if not included in resume. 

6. A brief writing sample using the following two prompts: A) Breckenridge ISD believes that student engagement is vital for authentic learning. Explain what student engagement means to you. B) Breckenridge ISD has a diverse, low socio-economic demographic. Please tell us your experience working with students of this demographic, and how your approach will help these students succeed.

 

BISD PROFESSIONAL APPLICATION

 

For support services positions, including, substitute, office/clerical, food service, teacher's aide, maintenance, custodial, and bus driver, you may print out the (PRINTABLE) application and deliver it to Breckenridge ISD Administration Building, 208 N Miller, Breckenridge, TX 76424. You may also email the application to applications@breckenridgeisd.org with the desired position in the subject line. Copies of the BISD Application for Support Personnel are available at the BISD Administration Building, as well.
