Stephens Memorial Hospital Junior Volunteer Program

Stephens Memorial Hospital is hosting a Junior Volunteer Program for the summer of 2009.  The program runs from June 8, 2009-July 31, 2009.

You must be 14 years of age, and entering the ninth grade or older, to participate in the program.  Junior Volunteer hours are from 8:00-12:00 a.m. or 1:00-5:00 p.m.  This program is based on community service and career development.  This is an excellent way to acquire community service hours and experience in the medical field.  Junior Volunteers will provide support to hospital staff by running errands, doing clerical tasks, answering phones, and some may be placed in clinical areas.  Junior Volunteers are expected to complete a full application which can be obtained from Donna Wade’s office, Breckenridge High School Counselor.  Returning volunteers will also submit applications.

Students who participated in this program had wonderful experiences last year!  Please go by Donna Wade’s office as soon as possible to pick up your application.  The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2009.
