  • Texas “BLACK GOLD”: “OIL” is loaded with all sorts of hands on activities defining and clarifying information about the oil boom in Texas. Your students will drill into a well springing with invaluable resources to help us explore all the ins and outs of the oil business and its effects on the world’s economy. JOIN US & DISCOVER OIL!!!

Introduction of team members
Look at Boom town Breckenridge through the cities murals.
 (Mural Capital of Texas)
Explore the origins of oil in Texas through power point.
Questions
Discover how oil is formed through power point and discussion. Example through an experiment on camera.

Discover how we get oil out of the ground with a movie of an oil rig sight.

Extra exhibit of a packer service on the oil well sight and a  packer service tool room tour
Show examples of different tools, core samples, drill bits, and much more on document camera.
