Links, Pickles and Goodies for Life
Our staff and students are hosting several fundraisers, during the month of May, to support our relay team, the North Navigators. The Navigators will be walking in the Relay for Life event the first weekend in June. We are now busy raising money with our “Links for Life” project and “Pickles for Life” sales.
During our Camp Read–a-Lot, today, we will have a bake/goodie sale.
Writing Activities
Mrs. Hall’s second grade students and Ms. Ridgeway’s third grade students have posted interesting and fun writing activities in the West and East Buildings. When you visit our campus, take a walk through the buildings and stop to enjoy these special works!
Daina Sargent - May 8th
Daina Sargent, the daughter of Pat and Dave Sargent, will visit our 2nd and 3rd grade students on May 8th. Pat and Dave Sargent are authors of many well loved tales read by students of all ages. Teachers and students are looking forward to learning more about where the ideas are generated to write such great stories; after all we may have a future author among us. |
Camp Read-A-Lot on May 6thCalling all 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade Buckaroo Campers! Bring your family for a night of reading fun, food, and activities. Enjoy the outdoors around the campfire with a flaming hot dog and melt in your mouth smores. Take a trip through our campsite and find a relaxing space to read. You are sure to have a great night with your family. Camp Counselors are looking forward to your visit at Cowboy Cookout & Blazin’ Buckaroo Ranch a Success!
Parents, grandparents, and friends! Thank you for coming out on Friday to join in on the fun and festivities. Students and teachers had a wonderful day on the grounds and the weather was perfect. Our Scholastic Book Fair was a busy place, as well.
We are so fortunate to have such GREAT support.
