Highly Qualified Teacher Report

The no Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires each local education agency (LEA) to publicly report district and individual campus progress toward meeting the highly qualified (HQ) teacher requirements. 

The BISD Highly Qualified Teacher Report below compares state results with that of our district as well as each individual campus. It includes: 

• Percentage of classes taught by HQ teachers
• Percentage of HQ teachers by district and campus
• Percentage of teachers receiving high-quality professional development
• Percentage of classes taught by HQ teacher in a high poverty school

 As evidenced by this report Breckenridge Independent School District far exceeds state targets.
