BISD Schools Are Closed Indefinitely Due to the Current Health Crisis.
From Mr. Earl Jarrett, BISD Interim Superintendent (03/31/20): In response to the county, state, and federal public health recommendations and emergency declarations, Breckenridge ISD will remain closed indefinitely. When public health officials determine that schools can safely reopen, the Breckenridge ISD community will be notified with sufficient time to plan to return to school. All Breckenridge ISD campuses will continue to provide instruction in the most effective manner possible during this closing. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be served to all school age children 18 years or younger. Please pay attention to this COVID-19 webpage and please utilize the below Home-Based Learning Resources.
Thank you for your consideration and patience during this unique and challenging time. Wash your hands! Practice social distancing! Stay safe and healthy!

Nutrition ◦ Posted Thursday, 04/02/20
The Texas Department of Agriculture has once again changed their rules and are no longer allowing BISD to provide meals during weekends. Therefore, effective immediately, we will only be providing breakfast and lunch, Mondays through Fridays.
Also, effective Monday, April 6, 2020, BISD will reduce the number of feeding sites down to one location. We will serve meals out of the back of the High School Cafeteria. Please see the below "New Meal Pick-Up Location." Our service hours will change to 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We apologize for any difficulties this may create,
but these changes are outside the control of BISD.
