BISD Schools Are Closed through Friday, April 3rd, 2020
Schools Are Planned to Reopen on Monday, April 6th, 2020
From Mr. Earl Jarrett, BISD Interim Superintendent: Due to information provided from local medical professionals, and although at this time there are no confirmed cases, Breckenridge ISD is now reacting to the corona virus as if it is present in our community. Therefore, BISD schools will remain closed through Friday, April 3, 2020, reopening on Monday, April 6th. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all students beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Each campus cafeteria will be providing meals on a pick-up basis. Just below, you will see an informational video from Mark Nelson, BISD Director of Food Services (and his letter where he presents information about meal pick-up). As we now understand, the Coronavirus challenges are fluid and dynamic, so please check our websites and social media platforms, and please see the below resources and videos for much more information.
