March's Callie Best, 8th GradeCallie has earned straight A’s the entire school year with the exception of one B. She has worked a great deal on Bronco Bulletins and now the yearbook; she has taken hundreds of pictures for the school at varying events. Callie just received news that she made the BJHS Honor Society and has rarely missed school. She has a terrific academic work ethic, is courteous to students and adults, making an important contribution to the life of the school. Way to Go! |

December's Patty Cooper, 8th Grade Heidi O'Dell, 7th Grade Mrs. Boles says "Patty performs in an exemplary manner in English class, working well in groups, and she consistently grasps concepts, demonstrating a very positive attitude toward her classmates." Mrs. Dodds reports that Heidi is "studious, kind, and maintains A's in her classes. She is liked by all students and teachers, and she gladly offers help to anyone. Her disposition is always of good cheer!" |

November's Rikki Box, 8th Grade Anthony Ramirez, 7th Grade About Rikki: Mr. Best says, "This young lady earns high grades, follows instruction closely, and treats her peers well. She also participates in and leads events such as Red Ribbon Week, wearing the most creative outfits, from super-hero get-ups (see Red Ribbon Week pictures on web) to crazy clothes. She has the right stuff!" About Anthony: Mr. Burchett reports that "Anthony won first place at the cross country district meet, competes in football, maintains an 'A' average in class, and demonstrates exemplary behavior!" Students such as Rikki and Anthony make a terrific contribution to the life of the school and the district, and we thank them. |

November's Accelerated Reader of the Month Eli Hampton, 7th Grade Mrs. LaFavers from the BJHS Library says, "I can hardly find enough books for this young man; he reads a fairly sizeable one almost every evening. He also performs very well on his AR tests. We are really proud of Eli!"

Tabitha Miller: Mrs. Burchett writes that “Tabitha is a leader in class. She works very hard in all that she does. She has a great personality, is friendly with her classmates, and she is respectful of adults.” Jeremy Stark: Mrs. Boles says that “Jeremy is an outstanding student, attentive in class and conscientious about his academic responsibilities. Jeremy also demonstrates the utmost respect toward his fellow students, making decisions with integrity even when he thinks no one is watching.” “It should be noted that both of these students are new to our school district, so we should consider ourselves fortunate to have them here,” Mr. Garner added. |
